Legal
Terms of Service
Last updated: August 21, 2026
Acceptance and eligibility
These terms apply to the Do not remind me Telegram bot. The Privacy Policy explains the separate
rules for personal data and optional website analytics. Links to both documents are available on
the website and through the bot’s /terms and /privacy commands.
By continuing to use the bot after receiving those links, you agree to these terms. Do not use the bot if you do not agree. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.
The service
The bot turns a text message or voice note into a proposed Google Calendar event. It transcribes voice input where necessary, extracts event details, and shows a preview. No event is created until you press the confirmation button.
The current service is free. It does not currently sell subscriptions, one-off purchases, or any other paid feature.
Your responsibilities
You must:
- connect only a Google account you are authorised to use;
- review the proposed title, description, date, time, and timezone before confirming;
- use the service lawfully and comply with Telegram’s and Google’s applicable terms;
- avoid spam, automated abuse, attempts to bypass limits, or interference with the service; and
- include personal data about other people only where necessary and where you have a lawful right to use it.
Do not send passwords, authentication codes, financial-account information, government identifiers, medical details, or other highly sensitive information. For a sensitive appointment, use a neutral event title and keep private details out of the message.
You retain rights in the content you submit. You give the operator only the limited permission needed to transmit and process it through Telegram, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google for the user-facing scheduling feature described in the Privacy Policy.
Google Calendar access
Google’s calendar.events.owned permission technically allows the bot to see, create, change, and
delete events on calendars you own. The current product uses it only to create the event you
confirm on the primary calendar. It also reads the connected account email and Calendar timezone.
The precise permissions, retention, revocation, and deletion behaviour are described in the
Privacy Policy.
You can remove the Google authorization with /disconnect. You can erase the bot account with
/delete_data. Previously created Calendar events remain in Google Calendar until you delete them
there.
AI output and confirmation
Transcription and event extraction can be inaccurate even when your input seems clear. The preview and confirmation step exists so you can catch an incorrect title, description, date, time, or timezone before anything is created. Do not rely on the bot for emergency, safety-critical, medical, legal, financial, or other use where a missed or incorrect calendar entry could itself cause serious harm.
Third-party services
The bot depends on Telegram, Google Calendar, Anthropic, OpenAI, hosting providers, networks, and device software. Their outages, policy changes, account restrictions, or API changes can delay or prevent the service from working. The operator remains responsible for obligations that applicable law does not allow to be excluded, but cannot guarantee the continued availability or behaviour of an independent third-party platform.
Availability and changes to the service
The operator may fix, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue the free service for security, abuse prevention, legal, technical, capacity, or product reasons. Where reasonably possible, advance notice will be given before a material reduction or discontinuation. Immediate action may be taken where needed to address a security incident, legal requirement, platform restriction, or active abuse.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service at any time, disconnect Google through /disconnect, and erase the
bot account through /delete_data.
Access may be limited or terminated where there is a reasonable basis to believe that you have violated these terms, applicable law, Telegram or Google rules, threatened the service or another person, attempted fraud, or abused technical resources. The operator will use a proportionate measure and provide an explanation where doing so is lawful and does not compromise security.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits mandatory consumer or data-protection rights, liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, losses caused by an independent platform outside the operator’s reasonable control, or an incorrect event that you created after the preview clearly gave you a reasonable opportunity to correct it. These terms do not remove any remedy you have for a failure for which the operator is legally responsible.
Changes to these terms
The current version and update date are published on this page. Material changes normally take effect 30 days after publication and notice through the bot. A change required immediately for security, law, or a Telegram/Google platform rule may take effect earlier, with an explanation. Changes do not apply retroactively.
If you do not agree with a change, stop using the bot and use /delete_data before it takes effect.
Severability
If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, it is treated as removed only to the extent necessary, and the remaining provisions continue to apply.
